Thao P. Nguyen (she/her) is a doctoral candidate in Sociology at Boston University. She earned her master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Chicago and her bachelor’s degree in Global Studies from Randolph College. As a scholar of gender and sexuality, she is invested in translating the insights of her research into practical solutions for individuals, communities, and organizations. In her free time, she writes about love, sex, and desire on Medium under a pseudonym. She is also passionate about social justice and grassroots activism.
